Tackling poverty and social isolation

The funding will support the continuation of the support Café. In 2023-24 we have managed to support an average of 25 service users at the café. The café largely supports individuals and families including the elderly that are struggling with social isolation or poverty. The Café provides a free lunch and also referral support through partner organisation, befriending and games and activities for service users to socialise. The Café runs with a Kitchen co-ordinator, befriending/support organisation staff member and 3 volunteers.
