Group Work

We are looking to develop group work sessions for Community Members. We have completed 6 monthly reviews with the community of Lochee and have looked at the Local Community Plan. Both have discussed isolation and how group work and brining community members together would be beneficial for mental and physical health. For this reason we are looking to get funding for the over 60’s keep fit class and an Art group to run within the Lochee Community Hub. These funds will pay for services to come into the building and complete the sessions with Community members. Giving them chances to be involved with others, socialise and to try new things. This will encourage more social situations, and will help the well being of the people involved.
