Cost of Living

To continue the positive impact the CRF award had on a number of individuals and small groups that received small funding awards to help them with mitigate the effects of increased energy and cost of living expenses for them. This funding will allow partner agencies and community groups to access small amounts of funding to provide a rapid response to community members who are struggling due to the ongoing cost of living crisis. These awards could be used by families to purchase essential household and clothing items as well as receiving support with emergency energy costs. Other possible applications could be made from local projects, churches etc to gain small amounts of funding to continue offering access to community spaces where local people can meet and have food, refreshments etc. In addition, activities that alleviate loneliness and isolation while promoting improved health & wellbeing can be funded for local workers to organise.
