East End Community Toolbox

The grant would be used to purchase tools and equipment to stock the Community Toolbox container. This is a new initiative, to be run by local volunteers, where people can hire tools and equipment at very low cost. The tools include gardening equipment. E,g, lawnmowers and hedge trimmers, Camping equipment e.g. tents and sleeping bags, and DIY equipment such as power washers, wallpaper strippers and carpet cleaners. Also applied for is shelving for the storage container and a laptop so Volunteers can keep track of the bookings and returns system.
