Grant for Activities/volunteer days

Friends of Clatto want to be able to promote Clatto Country park as a valuable asset for the people of Dundee and to encourage people to immerse themselves in the park in all sorts of ways such as volunteering, visiting the park independently and taking part in organised activities. Alongside this the friends of Clatto work hard to make the park a welcoming place through regular group meetups in the park to undertake tasks/maintenance that is required and they also keep connected so the resources would help with maintenance too. We would like to get more people including families interested in the park and a key part of this will be making sure we are able to put our ideas for attracting people to the park into practise. – the funding will allow us to purchase a variety of equipment and resources that will allow us to run a variety organised activities/events such as guided walks, volunteer days, open days and nature sessions. The public liability insurance will allow us to have community activities etc in the park. We won’t be able to run anything without the insurance.
