Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library

The grant is being requested to enable us to run the Dolly Parton’s imagination library book gifting service for children from birth to 5 years old in the Lochee area, this is an expansion in the project from just Charleston Library to include Menzieshill Library and the Lochee Library. The project will cover all of the areas in the Lochee ward including Beechwood, Dryburgh, Western Gateway, Menzieshill, Lochee and Charleston. The library will provide an opportunity for families to receive high quality books from penguin publishers each month, which are age, and stage appropriate and will be sent directly to them.
